We rebuilt the core bet-placement experience with a data-led, conversions-focused redesign. Working in Figma, we mapped end-to-end flows and shipped a persistent, acca-first bet slip that lets users add and place while browsing—no context switches. The UI stays familiar across 20+ sports, but removes friction at every step so decisions are faster and clearer while preserving the features users already rely on.
We introduced quick betting for multiples, an in-app numeric keypad with smart stake chips, one-tap “accept change & place,” smoother handling of suspensions/price moves, and prominent—but unobtrusive—acca boost surfacing. The result is a cleaner, more responsive experience that users engage with more: higher activation and bets per active, a larger share of accas, and stronger turnover/bet-value per active—even as other Spreadex's alternative sports betting product metrics declined.
30,000+ active users
+5.5% bets per active, total bets rose 21%
Acca usage climbed +4.4pp (+38% relative)
New user activation +9.5%, time-to-first-bet ~2.4 hours faster, and 7-day bets per activated +19%
Turnover per active rose 19.7%; total up 37.7%
