Frictionless Bet Slip: data-led redesign that lifted activation, engagement, and turnover
We rebuilt the core bet-placement flow with a data-led, user-first redesign. The new fluid, acca-optimised slip designed to keep bets instant and effortless works across 20+ sports, keeps users' favourite features, kills friction, and lets bets flow without interruption.
Launched quick-multiples, smart stake chips, one-tap acceptance, smoother suspensions/price moves, and subtle acca boosts. Outcome: higher activation, more bets per user, bigger share of high-margin accas, and stronger turnover-while competitor metrics slid.

Acca growth: usage up +4.4pp (+38% relative)

What I want to take from this project to new projects
Data-Led Validation → design decisions grounded in user metrics, not opinion.
Scalable UI Systems → a unified library powering 20+ sports, device-agnostic, faster to build and easier to evolve.
Smart Rollouts → gradual launches with low-risk users, fast feedback loops, rapid bug fixes.
Cognitive Simplicity → small UI refinements like trimming copy, simplifying UI, and sharpening visuals drove outsized lifts in engagement
What I want to improve on
Stakeholder Alignment Earlier → bring C-suite in sooner to cut risk and accelerate delivery.
Sharper Prioritisation → nail must-haves vs. nice-to-haves up front to keep scope tight.
Cross-Team Integration → involve devs earlier to uncover workload and UX trade-offs faster.
Deeper Analytics From Day One → start with richer data to inform sharper product decisions later.
